Welcome to Highfield Preparatory School
At Highfield Preparatory School we place great value on giving pupils the opportunity to flourish in all areas of school life. Throughout the school, we promote an atmosphere where a high level of achievement is valued. We aim to create a sense of happiness and warmth in which pupils are motivated to work and play to the best of their abilities. Both inside and outside the classroom, we generate a sense of vitality based on the principle that learning is fun.
We have been fortunate to attract and retain an outstanding team of experienced, qualified teachers and support staff, committed to listening to you and your child and making your family’s time with us as rewarding and fulfilling as possible. With small class sizes throughout the co-educational Pre-Prep department (Pre-School to Year 2) and the all-girls Prep department (Year 3-6) our team are able to be responsive to the needs of the individual ensuring continuity and progression for all.
We consider ourselves to be very privileged that parents have entrusted us with the care and education of their children and we value the contribution that parents make to the life of the school. Highfield Preparatory School is a very happy community where there is an absolute commitment to providing the girls with first-class pastoral care. Please let me introduce myself, my name is Sarah Wallace and I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher of Highfield Preparatory School.
Highfield is a small closely-knit family who produce confident, resilient and compassionate children, ready to take on the world! We all want the best for our children – a Highfield education is a rich, yet affordable experience with specialist teaching, small class sizes in a kind, caring and nurturing environment.

Today we welcomed last Year`s Y6 back for the annual Y6 v Y7 netball match! 🏀
Not wanting to miss out on the fun, some Highfield `old` girls now in Y8, Y10 and Y11 also came to visit!

😍😀Our enterprising Year 4 pupils held their end of year `Happiness Sale` this afternoon, selling an assortment of crafts, cakes, bracelets and mystery bags!
The girls planned and executed this idea all by themselves and managed to raise £90 for the school - fantastic work!
It`s amazing what a little dedication and teamwork can achieve!😍😀
