French, Latin (in Year 5) and Spanish (in Year 6) are taught by teachers in a lively and practical way using a multi-sensory approach to appeal to different styles of learning.
Great emphasis is given to listening and speaking skills; pupils learn rhymes, sing songs, play games, listen to stories and devise their own role-play. Reading and writing skills, along with grammar, are gradually developed from Year 3.
