We take an integrated learning approach to the teaching of English. Girls read, study and write in many forms, making meaningful links  where possible with topics studied in our humanities teaching.

Our aim is to foster a love of all forms of written text and an enjoyment in using language for different purposes and audiences that leads to a lifetime of confidence, competence and enjoyment in both reading and writing.
