Children develop their fluency, reasoning and problem solving skills through careful sequencing of lessons. Those who are able mathematicians are given challenging problems which encourage them to apply skills to new situations. All children leave Highfield feeling confident in their own ability in maths, and most with a positive attitude to the subject too!
