Highfield Prep School
At Highfield, we are known for our small classes, specialist teachers, a nurturing environment and access to outstanding local sporting facilities. Highfield is co-educational from Nursery until the end of Year 2 and from Year 3 onwards until the end of Year 6 we are girls only. We are a non-selective school and a proud member of the award-winning Chatsworth Schools family.

Early Years
Throughout our EYFS department we have an enabling, inspiring environment with well-qualified, knowledgeable staff who craft the curriculum around our children.
Pre-Prep
Within our Pre-Prep we provide a stimulating, encouraging environment in which every child is valued as an individual who has their own personality, needs and aspirations.
Prep School
In the Prep School, both the curriculum and the teaching are girl-focused and our girls have endless opportunities to continue discovering their talents.

A focus on STEAM
We are excited by Science, Technology, Engineering, Computing and the Arts and our pupils leave us with confidence in STEAM-related skills.
Excellent 11+ Preparation
All our girls are well prepared for 11+ and senior school examinations and we have an impressive track record of girls reaching the senior school of their choice.
A girls only Prep School
We welcome girls and boys from Nursery up to the end of Year 2 and from Year 3 onwards we are a girls’ only school.
